Monty Python: Life of Brian / 1979 / dir. Terry Jones

#99

Gone with the Wind / 1939 / dir. Victor Fleming

#98

The Set-Up / 1949 / dir. Robert Wise

#97

Shane / 1953 / dir. George Stevens

#96

Chimes at Midnight / 1965 / dir. Orson Welles

Welcome to the human race...
For what it's worth, I'm not seeing the images even though they appear to be attachments on this site.

But anyway, a decent start. Chimes at Midnight is my favourite of the bunch. Life of Brian made an old countdown but I revisited it a few years back and found it lacking. Shane and Gone with the Wind are alright. Haven't seen The Set-Up.

#91

A Woman Under the Influence / 1974 / dir. John Cassavetes

Seen 6. From Russia with Love is my favorite so far. Cool to see Jungle Book make it.
Just the bear necessities, sir.

#90

Ikiru / 1952 / dir. Akira Kurosawa

#89

Lifeforce / 1985 / dir. Tobe Hooper

#88

A Hard Day's Night / 1964 / dir. Richard Lester

#87

Top Gun / 1986 / dir. Tony Scott

#86

Unforgiven / 1992 / dir. Clint Eastwood

Ikiru and Unforgiven the obvious standouts here, but including Lifeforce is certainly a choice.
I've heard Tobe Hooper was given a pretty decent size budget for this in exchange for making TCM2, I don't know if I would classify it as a masterpiece but I found it to be such a great piece of 80's ridiculousness.

#85

The Sandlot / 1993 / dir. David M. Evans

#84

The Holy Mountain / 1973 / dir. Alejandro Jodorowsky

#83

Creepshow / 1982 / dir. George A. Romero

#82

Dirty Harry / 1971 / dir. Don Siegel

#81

The Prestige / 2006 / dir. Christopher Nolan

I forgot the opening line.
Creepshow and Lifeforce are loads and loads of fun. I loved Ikiru and Life of Brian still does it for me. I'd also say A Woman Under the Influence is one of the greats.

I'd never heard of The Holy Mountain and after a look here and there I can say that I desperately want to see it now.
