While I don't have a link to where i got this information and its not complety set in stone but Writer/Director Craig Brewer has stated many times that he isn't done with D-Jay and his story. He wants to creat a trilogy he referred to it as "The Rap Godfather". Terrence Howard and Ludacris have also mentioned these sequels in interviews.
I saw Hustle & Flow for the first time on thursday and have watched it 2 more times since then. Being a huge fan of hip hop I was instantly captivated by this movie and its great performances. While sequels usualy spell out disasters im kind of looking forward to see what Brewer has instore for these characters. What do you guys think of the idea of a trilogy
