A study just released this morning and published in J.A.M.A. reveals an unexpected benefit of consuming chocolate. Chocolate actually helps you lose weight!
Consumption of chocolate in any form: seven layer chocolate butter cream cake, ice cream with hot fudge , walnut fudge, chocolate bars , chocolate truffles, puddings, hot cocoa, chocolate lattes - all these types of chocolate actually have the effect of burning off calories. This study also concludes that the flavonoids in chocolate do indeed benefit one's digestion, eye sight , muscle tone and lead overall to a longer and healthier life span. These effects are not limited ( as previously thought) to dark chocolate; consuming rich, creamy milk chocolate is just as beneficial.
The AMA urges all people in every phase of development to consider incorporating any type of chocolate in unlimited amounts in their daily diet.
