So does Jodie Foster, although I think she's disappointed with it. She wouldn't do it, you know.

I am not a Ridley Scott fan, really, and I'd probably put Hannibal down as one of the four or five movies of his that I've actually enjoyed.

Miss Vicky's Loyal and Willing Slave
I know what you mean about wanting to re-arrange the order for some of them, though nowhere near as close to as many as you've shifted about. And some of them you've done a brutal job on. Signs dropping 65 places?! Ouch!

Anyway here are new additions I approve of (which is after all the most important thing! ) - Monsters Inc, Speed, Total Recall, Repo Man, the Lethal Weapon flicks

It's a shame some have dropped so low, such as Die Hard. Oh and you completely foxed me with Turkish Delight. Never heard of that one.

I'm baffled by how many inferior (in my eyes) sequels you have above the superior (again in my eyes ) originals. Return of the Jedi above A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back? Two Towers as the top Lord of the Rings? Curse of the Black Pearl not the top Pirates film?!!!

I also prefer Two Towers and Return Of The Kings over Fellowship. As for POTC,personally I like them equally but it's quite obvious that the first is the best one.

Also,I'm planning to finally have Star Wars weekend but I'm wondering is it better to watch them by chronological order (from I to VI) or the way they were released (IV - VI and I-III).I'm thinking that the best way would be to see them as they were released because I believe there's a visible change in quality since there's ~25 years gap between the first and the last film but I wonder what do those who has seen it think?

Soldier Of Orange
Monsters Inc.
Beavis And Butt-Head Do America
Total Recall (1990)
Brilliant additions.

Hannibal?
I love the book it's based on. Have you read it? So much better than the movie.
Jesus! That's literally the worst book I've ever read. Honestly. The worst. I even phoned up the friend who recommended it, to ask her what the hell she was thinking of when she asked me to read it and she said, and I quote, "I'm sorry. I just wanted to know if it was as bad as I thought it was." This is a woman who adored Red Dragon and Silence Of The Lambs and had been waiting for Hannibal since it'd been announced and thought it was so bad, that it had to be her that was wrong.

It's a shame some have dropped so low, such as Die Hard. Oh and you completely foxed me with Turkish Delight. Never heard of that one.
Wha?!?! It appears I've taught you nothing. Paul Verhoeven. Everything he's done.

Cheers for the replies guys... yeah there's been some shifting around, as I said, some have dropped quite a way so you can see how unhappy I was with the order.

Gabrielle, I'd watch the Star Wars films as they were released... IV, V, VI then I, II, III

Here's more: ...

30: The Lost Boys - Was in 13th

29: Lethal Weapon 2

28: Rise Of The Planet Of The Apes - Was in 25th

27: Indiana Jones And The Temple Of Doom - Was in 53rd

26: Jaws - Was in 28th

25: Predator 2 - Was in 50th

24: Indiana Jones And The Last Crusade - Was in 23rd

23: The Terminator - Was in 18th

22: Die Hard With A Vengeance - Was in 55th

21: Tremors - Was in 20th

OK, Lethal Weapon 2 isn't terrible, but seeing as you have two Indiana Jones film and Predator 2 in the same set, it's actually a little low.

Also, how the hell did Die Hard With A Vengeance gain so many?!?! Have you watched it again recently? You do know you have it above Die Hard, don't you?

I'll end on a positive. It's good to see The Fifth Element going the right way. Hopefully, in your next re-shuffle, it'll disappear all together.

Yeah I know I have Die Hard 3 higher than Die Hard... but again, like I said, after thinking long and hard about it, I realised that the original Top 100 I kinda put movies ahead of others for the sake of it rather than for what I actually thought.

Anyway, here's 20-11... new entries still in red:

20: Alien - Was in 14th

19: The Expendables - Was in 58th

18: Aliens Director’s Cut - Was in 10th

17: Terminator 2: Judgment Day - Was in 17th

16: Starship Troopers - Was in 5th

15: Ghostbusters - Was in 16th

14: The Amazing Spider-Man

13: The Expendables 2 - Was in 74th

12: Alien 3 Extended Cut - Was in 6th

11: Young Guns - Was in 3rd

New Top Ten

10: Shaun Of The Dead

09: Batman Begins - Was in 15th

08: Hot Fuzz

07: Lethal Weapon

06: Predator - Was in 4th

05: The Dark Knight - Was in 8th

04: The Dark Knight Rises - Was in 2nd

03: The Thing (1982) - Was in 7th

02: Dredd

01: Robocop - Was in 1st and still takes the top spot.

I hope I helped encourage you to downgrade Predator from 4th to 6th place.

Miss Vicky's Loyal and Willing Slave
Wow the Expendables flicks were huge gainers. Knew you loved them but didn't realise it was that much! And double wow at Dredd flying all the way up to 2nd. Do you think it will remain there for a while or is it just flavour of the moment kind of thing? For example I remember Rise of the Planet of the Apes being like 5th or 6th on your list not long after its release and now its down to 28th.

Really, really like your list (I think we'd have about 25-30 films in common) although for me personally it falls off a bit in the top 10. Lethal Weapon, Robocop and Predator I love. Not really a fan of The Thing or Dark Knight, and you've really pained me with the double shot of Pegg & Frost!

But yeah well done mate.

Cheers JayDee! Yeah I like Dredd that much... I've seen it now like 15 times and haven't grown bored yet
When I had Apes in the top 10 though, that was well before I made a Top 100 lis, so it kinda got in there like you said, for being flavour of the month.

As for Pegg and Frost, Shaun and Fuzz are their best work to date and some of the funniest films I've seen too. Seriously kicked myself for not puttingthem in last time.

Snuffstuff, what can I say?... I'm an action and sci-fi fan...

... but I wouldn't say all of my picks are solely action films.
3 of my Top 10 aren't: RoboCop, The Thing and Shaun Of The Dead.
RoboCop is classed as sci-fi action, but there's a lot more to it than just guns and violence.
