What are you doing at this very moment?

I'm sure you were a babe in arms when you saw it, surprised they let you in actually.

I can remember a mate's dog would pretend to have a sore leg when he was out for walks and get carried home (fortunately he was an evil little Pom, not an Irish Wolfhound ). The limp magically disappeared as soon as he got inside...

Sorry Harmonica.......I got to stay here.

In other news: Ireland is still frozen solid.
I was hoping and praying that college would be closed tomorrow like every other school in the area but I think I'm out of luck! It's going to be another hike through the snow in my wellies for me tomorrow!

Either way I am working tomorrow night and Dunnes wouldn't close if the entire country was going down in flames. Oh well, always better value!

The whole flippin' town seems to have closed down today because of a bit of snow. Rush hour on the road outside Tatty Towers consisted of a Land Rover, a former business partner driving a proper American monster truck (he's a bit of an idiot) and a couple of yummy mummys desperate to drop little Jonathan and Chloe off at the (probably closed) primary school so they can hold their coffee morning in peace.

Where's that wartime spirit gone? There are hundreds of ex-paramilitaries around the country who could be out helping old women get their shopping and digging out cars stuck in snow drifts. A 32 County Socialist and Gritted Republic!

By the way, if you've got any sway with Dunnes, tell them to hurry up and open a store in Dungannon. There was a site cleared for them about a decade ago and due to a SNAFU by Our Glorious Council it's been derelict all this time.

I'm sure you'll know who to call.

Didn't know you were in to self-torture...

Right now I'm washing Tylenol down with a cup of very strong coffee...

I FINALLY had a night out without the baby girl. Just got in from spending the day with my best friend... It felt good to shop for clothes for me and go to eat sushi AND see Burlesque. Just need more breaks like this more often!!

I'm actually making enquiries into this at work. A town without a Dunnes in this part of the world isn't a town at all! There's even a couple in Spain! You have been long since deprived. Life isn't worth living without savings on everyday items, and if you're lucky on your groceries too!

I just found out that the students protesting in London have apparantly set fire to the Christmas tree in Trafalger Square because the governement have voted in the increase to university fees. Vive la Revolution!

If I was a student looking to protest against potential £9000 fees for 'some' universities in England, I wouldn't throw on a balaclava like a member of the IRA and bring gasoline and matches to set fire to random **** in the streets. Please don't mix the yobs and the students up, it's a disservice to most of us. As per usual, as in most walks of life, there's a handful of hooligans to jump on the bandwagon and wave their fists.

The cheap clothing will do me. Can't beat Dunnes for T shirts and smalls.

We've got the corporate might of Tescos and Sainsburys here but I'd much rather give my cash to an Irish supermarket. You're probably too young to remember Stewarts and Crazy Prices but they had a certain homely charm.

I've just cracked open my Dirty Harry box set which arrived this morning. I'd forgotten Clint's fantastically naff jacket in the first film - slightly too small and leather patches on the elbows, like a Geography teacher fallen on hard times...

I've got a bit of a cold shocking case of the flu.

5.45am on a Sunday shouldn't, by rights, exist but I'm better off in a semi-vertical position, believe me.
