Proof of Life

Saw a sneak preview of this last night. It was alright -- nothing to rave about. Hackford supposedly cut out certain scenes between Meg and Russell, perhaps because of fear of a voyeuristic angle given their parallel real-life relationship. This hurt the emotional impact of some scenes -- you could feel the missing scenes which would have given meaning to the supposed poignancy of other scenes.

Every review I read about it was horrible... I suppose I'll get around to watching it... when it hits the air... maybe...

Didn't see it.
I heard a regular joe talking about it on the radio, and he said he was on his seat the whole movie.

Well, my wife just got a job @ the local theater, so that means free movie passes! Wahoo!

Anyway, on my way to D&D (barf) I stuck my head in the theater and it actually didn't seem that bad... I may go see the whole thing next week.
