I know that a significant portion of this movie was filmed using IMAX cameras, but how does this compare to watching on a regular screen? In my area, the IMAX showings are all sold out. I'm wondering how much of a difference seeing this film in IMAX would make to the actual moviegoing experience? Is this something that would greatly enhance the experience, and be noticeable to the average viewer, or would it be fine to see this on a regular movie screen?
Is it worth waiting to see Dark Knight Rises in IMAX?
I watched it at a regular screen and it was great. The IMAX show was sold out and so I was left with going to a regular showing. I felt like I got the great movie experience of TDKR just as anyone who went to the IMAX showing did.
