I hope they accually make a movie to the simpsons, that would really give an excellent ending to such a popular and long running television series.

I'm pretty sure a Simpsons movie has already been confirmed.

And Groening has specifically said that a film wouldn't end the show, he says he knows exactly what that final episode is going to be.

Were all based on a show and made into a movie.

Some were alright (maybe two of those, because Nick thinks it's cool to turn a lot of their shows into feature films).

The Simpsons have been around for a long time, if there was, and there IS a movie in the works, it has proven itself worthy of being given the 90 so minutes for a feature film.

Back in 1995, Jimmy originated as Johnny Quasar in some CG shorts from DNA Productions in Texas. After they sold the suits on their character, he transmogrified into Jimmy Neutron, and voila! Nick started to run some Neutron shorts in 2001 and released this theatrical film at the end of the year.
