That's pretty much what Kong figured.

Bully-(1st time) True...this is in some ways a powerful film. It is unrelenting in its message...but that is part of what is wrong with it. It hammers upon the fact that the kids in this movie are losers, they spend too much time planning the death, saying the same things, etc. But I wouldn't have really minded this part had the rest of the movie been good. This was just the icing on the cake. I liked the messages (watch your children, don't bully others, don't kill), but the movie was so exploitive that they sometimes get lost in the cloud of drug use and sex. I was particularly disgusted with the intertwining of hardcore gay porn and heterosexual sex that almost bordered on child porn. It seemed like he was making the movie in order to entertain his own pedophilic sexual fantasies. Not a terrible film...but it could've been soooo much better.

Put me in your pocket...
Millennium Actress (Sennen joyu)(2001) I absolutely loved this movie! It's a breath of fresh air from some of the crap I've seen this year. Nice story and I loved the way it was told. It was endearing, sad and had some funny elements.

The Cuckoo (Kukushka)(2000)~ I liked it alot. Interesting to see three different people (a Lapp woman, a finnish man and a russian man) thrown together at the end of the war...and they can't understand each other's language's. It's a quiet little movie that's very good.

To Live (Huozhe) (1994)~ I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED this movie. It's well done with a great story and great acting. It's a real tearjerker.

Seabiscuit ~ I liked it. I wish the ending was a little more resolved, but it was still nice to watch.

Old School~ Welll....I did laugh out loud a few times....but as a whole I didn't care for it. I can see why alot of men would like this movie though.
