Romantic/drama movie from poss. 90s

I am looking for a movie I saw maybe around late 1990's ot early 2000. I remember a young woman living alone in a house I think it was out in the middle if nowhere. Somehow a man meets this woman and a scene in the movie goes like this, the woman is outside and it start to snow, she exclaims "it snows, it snows!", after which an intimate scene between the man and the woman occurs.

Any clue what this movie is?
