Here's a hint:

This was a recent time travel show that was cancelled after its first season, and then the decision was reversed, and it was picked up for a second season. It was then cancelled again after the second season, but then it was given a special 2-hour finale to wrap up the loose ends for the series.

If this still doesn't help, then I'll reveal the name of the show tomorrow night.
