Favorite iconic movie car?

Since there are so many to choose from, and since I could only choose 12, feel free to post your own favorite iconic car if it does not appear on this poll.

My favorite is definitely the Lotus Esprit S1. The scene where it turns into a submarine is unforgettable

Had to go for Ecto-1.

My favorites in order:

1. Lotus S1. So awesome. Handles beautifully in real life.
2. Bond's DB5. One of the hottest cars ever made.
3. Burton's classic Batmobile. If a car could be a jet plane at the same time this would be it.
I do like Firebirds and Mustangs but I haven't seen either of those movies.

Bullitt's Mustang for me.

Man this is a hard choice. Between Ecto-1, the DeLorean, and the 89 Batmobile you have a good chunk of my childhood cars on display.

Though I think the V8 Interceptor from Mad Max and The Road Warrior should be included.



But even then my overall pick would be the DeLorean time machine.

I was either going the Interceptor or Herbie, but I felt that Herbie was just more iconic.

Definitely Louise's Thunderbird. Never paid much interest in cars, but I adored it as much as I adored the film. If money was no object, I'd buy one in a heartbeat!

I don't know about iconic, but here's one that has stuck with me. From the movie Kiss Me Deadly, Mike Hammer's Jaguar XK 120:

Burtonmobile and the Tumbler are both awesome. I'm going Tumbler just because it's more practical in real life.
