In the Beginning...
I own a lot of full soundtracks and scores, but some highlights are:

"Arrival to Earth," Steve Jablonsky (Transformers)
"The Blue World" and "The Great Eatlon," James Newton Howard (Lady in the Water)
"Chevaliers de Sangreal," Hans Zimmer (The Da Vinci Code)
"Merry Men," Mark Streitenfeld (Robin Hood)
"Road to Perdition," Thomas Newman (Road to Perdition)
"My Name is Lincoln," Steve Jablonsky (The Island)
"First Sleep," Cliff Martinez (Solaris)

Mainly John Williams stuff.
Seven Years In Tibet.
Star Wars Saga.
Jurassic Park.

I even had Robin Hood Prince Of Thieves (I know, but I was only 10 years old at the time).

One Piece - almost all openings
Matrix - full soundtrack
Pirates of the Carraibean - He's A Pirate
8mile - full soundtrack

Never bought tracks on their own from film scores or soundtracks, always buy the full thing. The only things I buy as single tracks are pieces of music from film trailers, for example the last thing I bought was from the composers website:

As for soundtracks and scores, I have a lot, too many to remember and name on here, so a few that pop into my mind are:

^ Above three are on record/vinyl that I got from my Mum's collection.

Just bought this one:

Wouldn't have bought The Artist score but it came with the blu-ray edition I bought:

I bought The Lion in Winter score mostly for this amazing track:

Really love the score from the recent sci-fi film Attack The Block.

I also bought the amazing music from the trailer for Inception called Mind Heist:

And more.

These are all the soundtracks I've bought on CD, I think:

(okay, I got this when I was 9).

Blood Diamond
Last of the Mohicans
Braveheart
Gladiator
Top Gun
Days of Thunder
Titanic.... Just kidding
And loads more

I've more often bought full soundtracks rather than singles, but usually the soundtrack is bought in order to get one or two tracks on it.

That being said, here are the tracks (I can think of) that I've either bought individually after hearing them in a movie or were the reason for buying the soundtrack:

"Walls (Circus)" Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, She's the One
"Shut Us Down" Lindsey Buckingham and "Square One" Tom Petty, Elizabethtown
"On the Wrong Side" Lindsey Buckingham, With Honors
"Twisted" Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham, Twister
"Holiday Road" and "Dancing Across the U.S.A." Lindsey Buckingham, Vacation
"Lose Yourself" Eminem, 8 Mile
"Hurdy Gurdy Man" Donovan, Zodiac
"I Will Always Love You" Whitney Houston, The Bodyguard
"Things Have Changed" Bob Dylan, Wonder Boys
"I Just Dropped In To See What Condition My Condition Was In" Kenny Rogers, The Big Lebowski
"Streets of Philadelphia" Bruce Springsteen, Philadelphia
"Little Wonders" Rob Thomas, Meet the Robinsons

I've only bought one, and was given the other:
Desperado: I bought this one and love it.
Titanic: I was given this and have never listened to (and I do like the movie).

Precious tritium is what makes this project go.

As soon as I saw Captain America: The First Avenger I had to go buy the song 'Star Spangled Man' from the soundtrack. It's a superhero movie with a musical number!

Hello everyone,
I'm a new member of the movie forum.
I think that one of the best soundtrack of the last three years is Drive's soundtrack. In particular:

01 “Nightcall” – Kavinsky & Lovefoxxx
02 “Under Your Spell” – Desire
03 “A Real Hero” – College feat. Electric Youth
05 “Tick of the Clock” – The Chromatics
