I personally is a huge fan of Cool Hand Luke and after his death i have watched his films a lot. butch cassidy, and color of money are other greats what does everyone else think?



So many good movies, so little time.
My favorite performances were :

yeah, i know, newman doesn't speak in this quote, but they ARE referring to him, and its my favorite quote of the movie ::wolf smirk::
these are all excellent, older newman films and in some of his much more recently work, i thoroughly enjoyed him in road to perdition

Nice list Holden. I could mix up any of your top three in my top three position, though I expect most of the time I'd say The Hustler is his best performance.

I love that movie!
. One of the truly hilarious un-PC comedies ever, yet the theme is far more pertinent than so-called serious films made nowadays. I just watched it again last night.

Cool Hand Luke, for me. I haven't seen many of his films (in fact, I think the only Newman flick I've seen is Cool Hand Luke).

I absolutely love Cool Hand Luke, though.



Only seen both Cool Hand Luke and The Sting. Prefer the former, though both were great.
