Has anyone seen this? Apparently it only opened in a few theaters in 2000, I picked it up on a whim at the video store since I saw the tape was letterboxed, and wow. This movie is a masterpiece - it's elegiac and sad and wounding but also beautiful and happy, and the pictures are absolutely stunning. I highly recommend everyone renting it, it's my favorite movie from the year 2000, its just great. I hope there's a DVD release of it soon, it would look gorgeous.

Can you detail it a bit for me? I haven't heard of this movie, but I'm thoroughly interested. What was it like? What story did it tell, specifically?
