Your favorite Al Pacino movies

Tools

What are some of your favorite Pacino movies?

My list would include:

The Godfather
And Justice For All
Dog Day Afternoon
Cruising
Sea Of Love
Scarface
The Devil's Advocate
Heat

You can't win an argument just by being right!
Everything I've seen him in so I'll just name the latest - The Stand Up Guys.

This might just do nobody any good.
1. Godfather pt.2
2. Serpico
3. Godfather
4. Heat
5. Dog Day Afternoon

I admit to being more of a De Niro guy but, c'mon.

Aside from the top five, Glengarry and The Panic in Needle Park are two film's of his I'm quite fond of.

Curious bit of trivia: guy could'a been Han Solo. The role was his to loose. I'm kind of curious about that possibility (remember, this was Al at his prime. All distant cool and intensity instead of just yelling).

I like De Niro's old stuff, but can't stand the dumb comedies he's doing now.
That's what I meant. You say the same about Al now.

Character-wise, I did love Frank Slade, but O'Donnell was kind of a wimp.. Pacino was better than the movie, though it was good.

Did anyone like the movie "Scarecrow" -- Al Pacino and Gene Hackman were big then, too... I'm guessing distributors thought we were too dumb to want an original story.

I've been looking for it. Scarecrow, I mean.
I have it on VHS, so I'm sure it's out there. Amazon, e-bay, thrift shops, or online perhaps.. It was on TCM a few months ago.

I'll name the only one I've seen - The Godfather
