Always be prepared to part ways with your bookie.

Happy for them, pretty likable for such a wealthy team. But also just because the "2020 doesn't really count" stuff always felt a little crappy. No denying it now.

Huge comeback from the Dodgers, after being 5-0 down after 3 inning. Stinkees didn't help themselves though, with those errors, but Dodgers 100% deserved to win the WS and they did.

Id go on record as saying that no, they aren't a likable team at all for that very reason. Some would say they had to go and buy a WS title because they couldnt afford to get embarassed like they did last year.

I deliberately linked the two to make the statement relative: "pretty likable for such a wealthy team." Whether that makes them likeable compared to someone like the plucky upstart Tigers, or whatever, is another thing entirely.

Lots of dynasties are full of bitterly unlikable players or overly competitive a**holes. The Dodgers, to the degree that they're unlikable, are mostly so only because they spend a lot of money, which I accept some people will always just hate ipso facto.

I thought this would be a 6 or 7 game series, and Freddie wasnt 100% yet played better than ever. There is no sense in Baseball lol! Good for them.

oh god ..... Pinellas County didnt approve the bonds that were necessary to build a new stadium for the Rays. So it looks like the deal is dead.
This next year could be the last year. Again.

Would love to see a team back in Montreal.

Few years back there were talks of Tampa and Montreal actually sharing the Rays, but MLB put a kebosh on that. Ive said it before, but the Rays deserve a much better fanbase than they ever got here.

Brandon Crawford retired. That kid could go on a hot streak for long periods and just be fantasy gold.

will the rays stay in tampa in the long term? no mention of a move to any other city.

The threat of them leaving never seems to go away.

Buster Posey, the 2012 National League Most Valuable Player, is now the Giants' president of baseball operations....... I am old

The talk of moving to Montreal has completely stopped. It was never legit.
