Movie comic with cop neglecting his wife

Hi I was trying to remember name of a movie I watched long ago. It was comic romance about a woman who has been neglected by her cop husband. Somehow a misunderstanding happens and she became accused in murder or some crime. Police is after her and media. She tries to call her husband but he does't pay attention as he s busy at work. Then he finds her on TV and is shocked

I think by "comic romance" he means "romantic comedy." Probably a slight language barrier.
