Sir Toose if you want to give me a questionarre I'm game. How about a universal one for everyone to reply to?
Oh, okay. I think I will.

I used to think Golgot was a windbag. Now I KNOW he's a windbag... but a cool guy too. I like trading points with him... I never fail to look at at least something in a different way when we're done. He's a natural teacher.

there's a frog in my snake oil
Ah what the hell. I'm in a procrastinating mood....and i've clocked up about 6 months here now...so i guess i'll jump in and say what i thought/think of my mofo kin....

Yoda
B4: insufferable right-wing creationist living in a conservative bubble of Berkleyist (philosopher) self-fulfilling pseudo-logic that backed up his own world-view

Now: A much-more likeable guy than i first realised, who is very fair with his desire to inform himself and question his and others thoughts, makes this site possible, and is much less dogmatic in his interpretation of his faith than i first assumed. And has insufferable right-wing views

Piddzilla
B4: Good right-on character who likes to take the "fight" to people in the same way as me .

Now: All of the above, and an expansive lover of film, with an amazing grasp of another language, and a playful way of keeping Mofo life ticking over.

Caitlyn
B4: A little bit conservative perhaps. A little bit soft and sappy maybe, but sweet with it.

Now: A very supportive, fair, informed, and questioning person with a great set of life-ideals. Another big-heart that Mofo and the real-world needs.

Sir Toose
B4: Gruff, irritable, liberal-slamming conservative.

Now: Open-minded, gruff, irritable strong-minded man who's not as straight-forward as he'd like to imply, and would only poke you in the eye if you deserved it.

Lord Slaytan
B4: Same category as Toose. An axe to draw lines with and a short fuse.

Now: A man that deserves a crown for funneling a lot of stuff through that frown. Can still charge the gate, but knows how to turn around if he's just denting his brow - He's got a real feel for the movies. And he's given up cigarettes! What can i say, a better man than me

Mary Loquacious
B4: An eloquent and unrepentant punk-fan with a plan

Now: Nothing's changed but her views have ranged further and you know she's a learner. Where are you Mary Lo?? Missing your crazy glow.

Silver Bullet
B4: Arrogant and needlessly snipey little Aussie.

Now: Ah, what the hell, he's grown on me.

MonkeyPunch
B4: A rampant punch of remonstrance.

Now: Much as above, but with more shades to his character and the skills to to draw them in. Fellow liberal kin

Django
B4: Eloquent and needlessly persecuted liberal.

Now: Dogmatic and block-headed liberal that basically deserves what he gets

Annie
B4: Didnt know much. Seemed very sweet.

Now: Still don't know much. Still seems very sweet and sensitive.

Nebbit
B4: Crazy aussie with a big bag of smilies

Now: erm, similar, but with saracasm that's more familiar, and a whole swathe of love and wisdom behind those dancing smiles.

Sunfrog
B4: Dedicated Bush-basher.

Now: Fact-less thrasher who's a funny little thing, but more at home being simplistic than realistic.

Nikki
B4: A woman with a laugh you could hear from Sydney to Perth.

Now: A bright young minx whose stillettos could teach you a thing or two

Steve
B4: A standard-model liberal me-thought.

Now: A questioner with many facts up his sleeve (and some views that displease me )

MinionTV
B4: A fellow late-night wonderer with a wicked and wandering sense of humour.

Now: A musician to boot with some good pondering roots - and that humour still flits through all of his muses, and it don't seem to matter if he's blue or enthuses.

Blibboblib
B4: Erm, a man with a name i'll never spell right

Now: Another brit who chooses laughs over fights, and isn't afraid of a chance or a fright. Another delight.

Holden
B4: Amusingly cranky and amusingly dry (erm, or not ) film fanatic

Now: Nothing if not consistant - and an invaluable assistant to my vague memory for names

Sexy Celebrity
B4: Cheeky chappy supreme.

Now: Net dallier supreme as well, with pictures to make other addicts cream-themselves, and a heart as big as his collection's swell.

Alright, i really should do some work, so i'm afraid people who only duck-n-dive into the word-hives i spend most time in don't get a look in to what this windy-wonderer thinks of you. If i didn't like you, i'm sure you knew b4

Let's hope many more people wash up on these shores (if they're not frightened off by the green dots round our doors )

Bah, erm, anyone want to pay me to stop rhyming?

EDIT: Argh - knew i'd forget some people - ah well, you haven't been here much recently r3, hanging around in the dial-up dimension. And Beale's on holiday. Those're my excuses anyway

Beale the Rippe
B4: Slightly too fond of the plastic pop culture that Hollywood specialises in, but enthusiastic about all things filmic.

Now: A thoughtful character never-the-less, whose moral impressions i enjoy prodding

r3port3r66
B4: A constant and incisive questioner. Seemed cold tho coz of the question-for-a-question approach.

Now: Another big heart and giving soul. Always re-assessing his role and with the patience to cajole (in a friendly way )

Ah, better pre-empt Silver now and say: Blow jobs all round. (altho of course, now he'll say: Perhaps if i read threads like this i'd say that. Tho actually it sounds nothing like me - or some such thing *sigh* you just can't win with some people )

Mother! Oh, God! Mother! Blood!
Don't you love these "popularity" threads?

Our desire for pats on the back probably goes back to Valentine's Day in elementary school where we all count how many valentines we each got in our box. Remember those days? You knew your rank and file in the classroom based on the number of valentines you received.

Happy Valentine's Day, everybody!
