What is your favorite Michael Mann film?

I'm truly amazed you can put Vice and Blackhat at the top of your list (If you are putting the in order).

without a doubt my favourite Michael Mann film and I was surprised this was here when I looked at his filmography

I like a few on your lists, with these two being tops for me...

Heat
Collateral

I didn't know Blackhat was his. I was always afraid to watch it, for fear of Thor's acting abilities.

I don't even know who Michael Mann is. But he looks bloody interesting, reminds me of Rutger Hauer and a bit of Paul Newman.



I'm afraid I only saw Heat, which was ok.

They're all or slightly above in my book. Really, really tough to separate them. Heat is the only one I've seen more than once so it goes top for now, but there rest are pretty much interchangeable.

I remember The Insider to be really good, but I haven't seen it in a long time, so I will go with Collateral...

Cruise and Foxx in Collateral 👌

It wouldn't surprise me if Manhunter turns out to be my favorite once I ever get around to seeing it, but for right now it's a toss-up between Heat and Thief.

my only problem is ali himself not being very likeable but thats not to do with the movie though.

Miami Vice was the worst film EVER

I'd probably go with Collateral. I think Heat has lost some heat from me.
