Jurassic Park vs Jurassic world?

The question goes to the larger question of originals, sequels, spin-offs, etc, like just how many times can you milk a cow before it goes dry. For most sequels, it mainly makes sense financially because you already have props, costumes, digital models and actors who know how it all works, but each chapter is less of a novelty. In its latest iteration, JP seemed about as tired as I was when I left the theater.....yeah, yeah, bigger dinosaurs, running and screaming and stuff being smashed up. It had none of the newness and amazement of the first movie.

So, what's next, Jurassic Park, Dinosaurs in Manhattan? I'm thinking of a fresh franchise, and updated one where there's a Cretaceous Park and then the big age-ending asteroid hits the earth.

Jurassic Park for sure.
