Many may not know Desiree Gould, but her most famous role was that of Martha Thompson, the aunt who raised son Ricky and niece Angela Baker in the original Sleepaway Camp in 1983.
Angela Baker herself, Felissa Rose, announced yesterday that Gould had passed away at the age of 76:
"My heart is heavy. Today we lost a Sleepaway Camp family member. We all love you Desiree Gould. Thank you for creating such a charismatic and memorable character! Aunt Martha will be forever remembered.
