Poor script. So many avenues it could have gone down, instead just kept it as a boring slasher retread.

Kevin Bacon was great as always, though.

Go for Soldier Of Orange and The Fourth Woman. If you want to see Verhoeven, medieval style, look at Flesh+Blood, too. I love it and you get Ruger Hauer, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jack Thompson and Brion James. All good for me.
