Yeah. It does. But years of football and rugby have made them 4 distinct countries for me.
England, Scotland & Wales are the “constituent” countries that comprise Great Britain. In other words, countries within a country.
You say 4 countries so I presume you’re referring to Northern Ireland, which, actually, is part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland. (Sometimes referred to as a country, a region, a province.)
If you mean the Republic of Ireland, yes, that’s a separate country.
