So one of my favourite artists of all-time is Elliott Smith, but I would never have heard his music if it weren't for this scene.

Which made me go looking for the song, falling in love with it and looking for more.

For Arcade Fire.

So, what films have introduced you to bands/artists that you love now?

Well, that's.. like, your opinion man.

It's probably in my top five films, though. And Anderson is my favourite direct so..

I can kind of see why people don't like him or his movies, he's got a sort of dry, quirky, deadpan humor that is a acquired taste.

I never found it laugh-out-loud funny(It had a few moments), and I don't think it was trying to be overly funny or go the full-comedy route.

One song that came to mind was "Just Dropped In (To See What Condition My Condition Was In)" by Kenny Rogers and The First Edition. Never knew of the song's existence until Lebowski.

Tarantino introduced me to surf music.

I 110% agree! I already loved the song, but the movie got me to the point that I was considering marriage.... kidding! Of course but I really do believe the setting in the movie made the song really golden.

Bob Evans- Dont Walk Alone was introduced to me in the movie Black Water.

All the songs that Tarantino picks for his movies were newly introduced to me and have become favorites of mine.

Rocky III, or should I say Sylvester Stallone, introduced the world to Eye Of The Tiger and the band Survivor.
