Ghost/demon materialising through wall in kitchen??

Hi all -

This one's been bugging me - the movie setup's pretty much standard fare; family move to new home (fairly isolated farmhouse?) & the usual ghostly shemanigans ensue, but one scene sticks with me is the materialisation of a ghost/demon/murder victim from house's past through a wall (in the kitchen) - not sure, but I think there was a dark patch/stain on the wall when they moved in & it's through this it appears.

Just a guess, the film didn't make any real impression on me; but a ghost, murder victims, farm house, all those are there.

If I'm not mistaken, one of the children hid in a kitchen cabinet to hide from the killer.

Not a bad film from what I can remember either. Kristen Stewart still only has one facial expression though.
