Poets of the Fall - Carnival of Rust

1. 2Pac – Hit ‘Em Up
- Best rap song of the 90s… maybe. It’s possibly the meanest.
2. Icecross – Nightmare
- I was very into this. Downloaded the album immediately. I plan on listening to it before week’s end.
3. Pony Bradshaw – Dope Mountain
- Hillbilly humanity
4. Chuck Berry – Almost Grown
- Gotta love Chuck Berry… even though he stole his sound
5. Jack White – Love Is Blindness
- Some good things, some things I’m cold on.
6. Wade Hayes – What I Meant to Say
- Very much of its era. Not my favorite era of country music, but I still have somewhat of an affinity for it. 3:28 felt a little long.
7. Joan Baez – Rejoice in the Sun
- This is alright.
8. U2 – Desire
- This round wasn’t my favorite round.
9. Le Cassette – You Are You Are
- This was probably fine, but it wasn’t holding my attention. I got distracted a little bit.
10. Unheilig – Zwischen Licht Und Schatten
- Was digging it much more as a piano piece before the vocals kicked in. I don’t understand German, so I can only judge it based on how much I like the way it sounds. Which isn’t a whole lot, sadly.
11. Chris Cornell – Follow My Way
- I didn’t care for this, but it kept going and going.

I have to admit that I'm feeling out of sync with these two rounds. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the fact I'm posting my round lists earlier than I normally do, and that I'm not getting those timely Chyp @ references 24 hours before deadline? I feel so lost =\
