Movie You're Watching Tonight

Rewatch.
Didn’t like it at all the first time around, but who knows, I guess.

My mother loved it. Go figure. Said it’s a very good film.
I still don’t like it, but it does have its hilarious moments.

A somewhat recent (2019) Irish language drama set during the the potato famine of the mid-19th century, and my first viewing. It was well-reviewed and looks interesting so I'm optimistic ☘️🍀☘️🍀

I liked it very much though I doubt I will watch it again.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Celebrating my favorite holiday with bangers and mash and for dessert, a few films from the Emerald Isle, starting with The Banshees of Inisherin (2022).

Arracht (2019) was really good, will post my thoughts on it in the very near future after I've let it "digest" a bit ..

^I really enjoy Banshees and, despite the heavy material, I felt it to be a pretty light, enjoyable watch. Love all the accents too. Colin Farrell's on fire lately.

My pants ran off with an antelope.
I won't finish it tonight vis I'm too tired, but I started At Play in the Field of Our Lord for the Hall of Fame. It starts off okay. I took a break because I needed to use the bathroom and decided to post my choice here.
