I Ve always liked horror movies, find it a really great genre which has great imagination
john Carpenter has given us some brilliant films since the late 70s with his masterpiece Halloween
i would say the thing came at a time where star wars was gracing the big screen big time. for me this is a classic and will go down as one of the best sci-fi horrors ever made
then came the classic satire escape from network and later they live and Prince of darkness two of my favorites aswell.
into the 90s we had in the mouth of madness which I rate really high on the list.
here is my list from best to worst:
1-halloween
2-the thing
3-starman
4-escape from newyork
5 in the mouth of madness
6 they live
7 prince of darkness
8 village of the damned
9 Christine
10 ghosts of mars
