Well you bring anime so I will continue it c:<. So, I guess Shizuo's strenght can break easily Stein's neck no matter how big his soul is. Also he barely feel pain so his Soul Menace wouldn't affect him so much.

I may be mistaken but if not, this girl had it hard in his life, a dark past or something that bothered her so much she run away to that world. Well then Kano might be able to crack her mind, he can change the things you see when his eyes turn red. It would be like a genjutsu I guess. So he can revive all his traumas and confuse her ?)
