Netflix movie with young woman and guy who builds time machine

I cannot remember the name of this movie. I saw it on Neflix and it's about a reporter who takes two interns on a trip to interview a weird guy who I think puts an add in the paper for a partner to go back in time with. Turns out the guy is actually building a real time machine, but depth drama ensues as the young female intern kinda falls for the inventor.
