Space/time travel movie from last 20 years?

Hi all,

I’m trying to find a space genre movie, and legit can’t tell if the scene I remember was part of a dream or from an actual movie. I thought it might have been Event Horizon but I watched that and no luck.

The scene I remember is aboard a spacecraft, and there is either time travel or teleportation involved. Best I can describe is there are maybe two people in a corridor/hallway, and they hear noises/screaming coming from within a wall. They’re able to open an access panel and find that a crew member has become “part of the ship” because they were teleported to where the wall of the ship is, or time travelled and ended up in the wall of the ship. The person in the wall has wires coming out of their body, which again is essentially part of the ship now.

Pretend you were standing in a spot where you planted a tree, and time travelled 50 years in the future in that exact spot and you and the tree occupied the exact same spot, but the tree is a spaceship wall…
