Spaced is a comedy series starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.

Tim Bisley (Pegg) and Daisy Steiner (Jessica Hynes) are two London twenty-somethings who meet by chance in a cafe while both are looking for a flat. Despite barely knowing each other, they conspire to pose as a young professional couple in order to meet the requisites of an advertisement for a relatively cheap flat in the distinctive building at 23 Meteor Street, which is owned by and also houses the landlady, Marsha Klein. Also in the building is Brian Topp, an eccentric artist who lives and works on his various pieces in the ground floor flat. Frequent visitors are Tim's best friend, Mike Watt (Frost) and Daisy's best friend, Twist Morgan.
The series largely concerns the colourful and surreal adventures of Tim and Daisy as they navigate through life, decide on what they want to do with their lives, come to terms with affairs of the heart, and try to figure out new and largely unproductive ways of killing time. Tim and Daisy repeatedly stress that they aren't a couple to everyone but Marsha, but despite this, romantic tension develops between them, particularly during the second series.
The central comedic conceit of the series is that it portrays the rather ordinary lives of Daisy and Tim using overblown Hollywood blockbuster clichés.

It is awsome and definatly worth a look, are there any fans already on here?

Welcome to the human race...
I'd be a fan if I saw more of it, I suppose. It's showing once a week on ABC2 (essentially a channel where ABC puts all the shows it either can't fit - or refuses to play - on ABC1), and I caught the tail-end of it earlier.

Plus, it's not available on DVD around these parts either and I haven't got the means to import at present.

Still, from what I've seen, it's pretty funny.

Hello Salem, my name's Winifred. What's yours
Spaced is a fantastic show and theres a good interview with the cast in this month's issue of Empire.

I particularly love the crazy night out in Camden episode in the second season with the slow motion imaginary gunfight, recreated many a time in my own flat.

I love the charector "Tyres" he is only in a few episodes he crackes me up, just the way he losses his temper then in a split second he's sat down smoking a fag. Also when he is dancing to the traffic lights Genious!

A system of cells interlinked
Just got the series recently in the mail. I have watched a couple, which I liked quite a bit. I will watch more and report back!

I am burdened with glorious purpose
Oh my god. My son and I spent the weekend watching these. He's seen them all, I have two more to go.

The paintballing episode of the first year was hysterical. When Nick Frost spits out paint, I thought I would die laughing. And another bit I loved was the oregano/pot/chicken stew bit.

What a great show.

As I understand it, Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright are teaming up again for the third part of their "trilogy" (Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz being the first two).

I. can't. wait.

Never Rub Another Mans Rhubarb.
Tramp man I so agree with that, the paint balling episode was the best one ever.

Pegg and Frost are a fantastic team.

Awsome Spaced is a great show and that episode is awsome lol.

Yeah they are teaming up agin in another film and I really cannot wait to see it.

You're a Genius all the time
I bought the box set the other day on a whim because it seemed pretty cheap at $29.99 and I had heard so many good things about it. Also, you know, Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright and Jessica Hynes are pretty funny people. Anyway, I was not disappointed in the least. In terms of sheer rewatchability, I'd say this is one of the finest television series ever. I get the feeling it's one of those deals where I'll pick up on something new every time I revisit it. Really, really great stuff. I can't decide if I liked series one or two better, though.
