Here in Detroit, Jack White has invested heavily with his stamping factory. He's one of the big influences on that media. Can't provide a link because of my crappy phone, but just google "Jack White Third Man Pressing".

Where do I start with these guys?
Without knowing anything about your tastes, I'd say that the Heart of Glass soundtrack is an accessible introduction, as well as probably my favorite album of theirs front-to-back.
