Russia are playing a tactical game - Putin has already told them the results of tonight's matches and they want to avoid Spain without making it obvious 
The round of 16 is looking like to become a deathmatch of many big teams now.
For example, Uruguay and Spain in the round of 16 is gonna be great now. I am rooting for Uruguay given it's my dad's country although obviously Spain is the favorite in that match.

Always happens to me too. A goal-less game until I move away from the tv & then all hell breaks loose.
A tough day for anyone putting money at risk today:- Saudi's beating Egypt and both Spain and Portugal drawing.

Ha. TV cables are all out of the way, but I often trip over the fan cable & extension cord. Wouldn’t have this problem if husband would get off his butt & install the AC unit in the window.
Well VAR and the ref in the Portugal-Iran game was just awful! I dont think he would get any more matches in the later rounds.
These refs are taken for the WC. Micheal Oliver would have been a far better choice.
