Best 'True Story' film?

Tools

Man of La Movies
A beautiful Mind - Russell Crowe at his best
All the President's Men -
Glory - Blows my mind everytime I see it
Catch Me If you Can
u-571 - not a great film and the original people were British, but I have to watch it everytime it's on.
Gangs of New York - really getting on a Leo kick right now, aren't I?
The Aviator
Big Fish
Cradle Will Rock
Star Wars - I mean, you never know...it all happened a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away

there's a frog in my snake oil
Oh god, no. U571?! Even 'inspired by' would be the wrong term for that one, surely.

---

Ugh, for some reason i can only muster...

Chopper - coz i've just seen it - altho it's more of an 'inspired by' offering - bordering on 'Confessions of a Dangerous Mind' territory.

i always love Boys Don't Cry - Hilary Swank...she's acts superb in the film..won a lot of awards in it.
anyone seen that movie?

Best line ever in a movie...
Cinderella Man

This movie was excellent IMO.

This One Time At Band Camp...
A Beautiful Mind

I like Walk the Line.

Trivia: Technically Nightmare on Elm street is based on a true story. (not really mind you). Thing is the writer read an artical in a newspaper about a boy who was killed in his bed while he was asleep. There was no visible signs of a break in. Obviously it takes a twist very active imagination to turn it into nightmare on elm street. But I think you can see the TECHNICALLY about it. Right?
