Interview the Person Below You

Tools

In the Beginning...
1. What is the most valuable thing you've lost?

The love of my ex.

2. When is the last time you read a news article about the war in Iraq?

Sometime a couple years ago, I guess. Sad, maybe, but I'd just be reading a distortion of the truth.

3. What song do you sing when you're not thinking about what song you're singing?

Um...Bohemian Rhapsody. Yeah.

--------------------------------------

1. How often do you eat fast food?
2. What do you use for bookmarks?
3. What game are you best at? Board game? Physical sport? Memory game?

The People's Republic of Clogher
1. How often do you eat fast food?

Depends what you mean by fast food. McDonalds, for instance, about 3 years ago. Chinese takeaway, 3 days ago.

2. What do you use for bookmarks?

Apart from bookmarks? I've still got a leather one from my primary school dated 1980, other than that I've been known to fold the page corner.

3. What game are you best at? Board game? Physical sport? Memory game?

It used to be physical sport but not anymore. Can't remember the last time I won a memory game so board games by default (though I've given up on Trivial Persuit since losing my unbeaten record to a teenage cousin one Christmas - I blame the sherry).

---------------------------------------------------

1. Have you ever won a goldfish (or any other live animal) at a fairground?

2. What's your favourite ornament? I like my Homer statue (nowt to do with The Simpsons) but pride of place goes to a little wooden urn with my name branded into it from a holiday to Spain when I was 4.

3. Do you think people who spit chewing gum onto pavements should be:

a) Publicly flogged?

b) Hung, drawn & quartered?

c) Made to paint old ladies' fences followed by a and b?

I once beat Gustavoman at Trivial Persuit, but I had to pour rum down him mercilessly to manage it.

1. Have you ever won a goldfish (or any other live animal) at a fairground?
No. I was given a goldfish at work once that had been used as a centerpiece. It was dead by the first Monday after.

2. What's your favourite ornament? I like my Homer statue (nowt to do with The Simpsons) but pride of place goes to a little wooden urn with my name branded into it from a holiday to Spain when I was 4.
I have an oil lamp that belonged to my Grandmother. It doesn't go with my decor except at Christmas when I get out all the other red stuff. I love having it in my home, though.

3. Do you think people who spit chewing gum onto pavements should be:

a) Publicly flogged?

b) Hung, drawn & quartered?

c) Made to paint old ladies' fences followed by a and b
C, then A.
Drawing and quarting would just mess up the sidewalk even worse.

Sir Sean Connery's love-child
1. A family holiday in France, in a place called Arcachon.
2. Not sure if it's stypo, grift or gift? Grift would be John Cusak's dollar bill swap in the
film Grifters. Gift would probably be a watch my parents bought me for my 21st,
more so now my dad has passed away.
3. Finger food, hmmmm, probably chicken liver pate on toast.

1. If you had to kill one human being involved with making movies who would it be?
The person who puts already-thin actresses on low-fat diets.
2. What is the worst way to WATCH someone die?
Painfully, and aware that they're dying.
3. What subject should be completely destroyed in schools (hint: PE)
None. And definately not PE, because kids need to learn how to exercise. I'd change how it's taught, because certainly not all kids are good at sports and they don't get better at them by the methods commonly used in PE classes. I'd offer more choices both in PE and in other areas, in the upper grades.

1. When was the last time you went trick-or-treating?
2. Ever been to a seance or ghost hunt?
3. How do you feel about cemetaries?

In the Beginning...
1. When was the last time you went trick-or-treating?

Years ago.

2. Ever been to a seance or ghost hunt?

No. I had planned to attend a ghost tour in Key West a few years ago, but I got terribly sick, and couldn't make it.

3. How do you feel about cemetaries?

Uncomfortable, like I shouldn't be there.

The People's Republic of Clogher
1. Let's say you are creating a new reality show. What is it?

Celebrity Saw Your Own Leg Off - That'll sort them out...

2. Do you subscribe to any magazines or newsletters? If so, which?

I still subscribe to Glass's Guide.

3. Who's going to win the World Series?

Dunno. What countries are involved?

----------------------------------------

2. Cake or Cookie?

3. What's the most you've ever spent on a pair of shoes?

Standing in the Sunlight, Laughing
1. Have you ever locked yourself out of your house? If so, which window did you choose?
Yep. The dining room doors were open, so I just had to pry off the screen and climb over the railing.

2. Cake or Cookie?
Yes, please.

3. What's the most you've ever spent on a pair of shoes?
$75 on a pair of Franco Sarto loafers. I've worn them a whole lot in the last 3 years, and they're stepping into their fourth looking pretty good still.

oops... timed that just right. I'll answer Eye's questions, too:
1. where do you go to have fun?
Disneyland is pretty foolproof. The movies are also good, and slightly less pricey.
2. Do you go anywhere that's supposed to be fun, but you don't have fun?
I used to go to the mall, and it stopped being fun when I stopped having cash to blow.
3. Where do you have the most fun?
Like, on a regular basis? Lunch with my friends, I guess.
________
1. Favorite amusement park ride?
2. You invite 3 friends over to watch a movie: which film and what do you have for snacks?
3. Is assassination ever justified?

1. Roller Coaster, naturally
2. depends on the friends, maybe Night at the Roxburry, or TCM, but oreos and soda for snacks
3. no, but life imprisonment and a good ass-whooping are

The People's Republic of Clogher
1. Where do you go to have fun?

Well, last night it was the Pub...

2. Do you ever go anywhere that's supposed to be fun, but you don't have fun?

It used to be when I was designated driver, but I cunningly moved a mile away from my local so folks give me lifts now. Job done.

3. Where do you have the most fun?

Behind closed doors...

----------------------------------

1. Have you ever stuck your finger in a light socket, or electrocuted yourself in general?

2. How many fillings do you have? I've only got one...*smug grin*

3. What's your favourite parlour game?

Standing in the Sunlight, Laughing
1. Have you ever stuck your finger in a light socket, or electrocuted yourself in general?
Yup. Have pulled a plug on a curling iron and got my fingers against the prongs while pulling. Did the same in college with the full-size version, unplugging a theater light. And that Steel-wool-and-batteries means of making fire? That can be a shocker too.

2. How many fillings do you have? I've only got one...*smug grin*
Eight.
But no cavities in 17 years.

3. What's your favourite parlour game?
Still Trivial Pursuit. I also like Balderdash, Pictionary and an assortment of card games.

-------------
1. :: poof :: You're a musical sensation. What are your first three hits?

1. Cheaters 'n Munch'ems, Half-Empty, vertebre
2. Phoenix, immortality, duh
3. Who could I tell? Poofs can't talk
_______________________________________________________
1. *repeat* What animal are you and why?
2. Who's your favorite band?
3. Ever driven a "Genie"?

1. *repeat* What animal are you and why?
I am a sloth, for slothful reasons.
2. Who's your favorite band?
When I'm pissed, Muse.
3. Ever driven a "Genie"?
No, or maybe, but probably no.

1. Before going to sleep what is your routine habit? (masturbation doesn't count)
2. You are locked in a room with 3 people, who do you NOT want them to be?
3. If you had to destroy one subject in school what would it be? (hint: PE)

shave, do 4 rounds of DDR, 50 pushups, disrobe (that's fancy talk for getting butt-naked), shower, brush teeth, comb hair, go to sleep
