RIP Roddy Piper!

I didn't really follow his wrestling career, but he earned my respect on the basis of They Live alone. Between that and my as-yet-unwatched copy of Hell Comes to Frogtown, I know I'll be paying my respects soon.

Roddy Piper was one of my favorite pro wrestlers and one of the few who actually turned out to have some acting chops...They Live is a minor classic that has enormous re-watch appeal. The guy had more charisma than he knew what to do with. RIP.

RIP Rowdy. Much respect.

On Monday's episode of WWE RAW they had a video tribute to Piper. Obviously it's more concerned with his wrestling career than anything else but you can see his great charisma, and it does throw in his classic line from They Live for good measure.
