A 12 years old guy lives with her single mom and younger brothers (maybe in California). He does small cons or thefts to sustain the family who lives in small house with a single floor. One day he's putting groceries on the shelves, when the worried but naive mother asks her where did he get the money, and he answers: "it's the same old story, mom. Don't ask questions and I won't tell lies".
