Cyborg 1989 Directed by Albert Pyun

Cyborg 1989 Directed by Albert Pyun
Albert Pyun gets lots of love in this thread. I'm not sure if I'd call his films the worst, but other than that he, sort of, deserves the praise. At least I usually have at least a decent time watching his films, and he has his own unique style.

So, how about the Nemesis sequels? I'd remember at least the first of them was a decent (and weird) mix of Scifi action and softcore porn with a professional female bodybuilder in the lead. The third one was probably shot at the same time (I vaguely remember that they used partially the same footage).

And let's not forget his debut, The Sword and the Sorcerer, which isn't bad for a sword & sorcery film. It's like a mix of swashbuckling and barbarian movies with the silliest magic sword in cinematic history:

Yeah, I approve Pyun on this list

The Dongeon Master

And
Time Walker

Are 2 film I realy like

The Hidden

Whoa, whoa, whoa. The Hidden is a legit good sci-fi thriller anchored by excellent performances from Nouri and MacLachlan. It has memorable action set-pieces and compelling emotional arcs for its main characters.

Yes you are right the Hidden is one of the best sci fi movie but just movie fan like us remember this movie. General public don't even know about it. They remember Alien, Blade Runner, 2001, Star wars etc. But maybe i'm wrong i'm not from USA so maybe in here it was not to much apreciated. But it's good to remember it...

It's definitely underseen and underappreciated. I just don't think it qualifies as a "best worst movie".

Wow! I had completely forgotten about The Sword and the Sorcerer, excellent terrible film. Like a couple of others I strongly disagree with The Hidden. That is a true favorite of mine and just a really good sci-fi flick. Some movies I like (or love) that I would never dream of defending as anything but **** are

Roadhouse

Demolition Man
Anaconda (I used to play it off as just an excuse to count the beads of sweat on J.Lo and Kari Wuhrer but I can't lie anymore but god help me it's not JUST that.)

J.Lo is very pleasant to the eye on that one. I've also seen the film multiple times, and like you, it's not JUST about J.Lo

Cyclone

Food of the god part 2

Rats: nights of terror

Christina's House

Bats

Timerider

For years, my "best worst movie" was Plan 9 from Outer Space (1957), but I recently watched a movie that dethroned it.

Nine Lives (2016) (According to Wikipedia, it was released on Australian home media as Mr. Fuzzypants.) It's an incredibly stupid movie that's hilarious. Kevin Spacey is perfect as the voice of Mr. Fuzzypants.
