That is a hard 1, love war films few favourites of mine I own on DVD are Saving Private Ryan, Platoon, War Horse, We Were Soliders, Full Metal Jacket, Escape to Victory and Black Hawk Down. And 1 boxset I own but no quite a film is Band of Brothers, amazing war drama.

I really liked The Longest Day having been to Normandy on a battlefield tour, but the REAL best for me includes Saving Private Ryan, Platoon, A Bridge too Far, Battle of Britain and We Were Soldiers.



my top 5 would be (Dr Strangelove would be #1, but I don't know is it' considered a war movie)
