Last night I went to see Iron Maiden live (amazing btw, I was like 5 feet from the stage) but I started thinking what bands or groups or individuals have all of you seen live and what your dream concert would be.

myself, I have seen Iron maiden, Megadeth, Lamb of God,
Incubus and Rise Against (dont no why I saw the last two, i dont really like them, but my friends do)

I really, really want to see Led Zeppelin or Rage Against the Machine

Iron Maiden! ha nice!

i've seen alot of live music and i don't plan on stopping, ever....

i've actually have been keeping a list, and its pretty much in order of who i saw first/last.

My first real concert (i've gone to some live shows of bands that my friends are in and such) was

Mettalica and Godsmack
i was 15 or 16 and it was pretty schweet.

then i saw Bon Jovi.....now hear me out. My cousin was in this battle of the bands, and the winner got to open for Bon Jovi, and my cousin, Trinity James & the Big Bad, won and got to open for him, which was a big deal to him cause Jovi is like his hero. It was cool seeing my cousin on a big stage (Kohl Center, WI) Bon Jovi was aight, mullet madness...

and here's the rest of my list (i'm including stand up comics aswell)

Stephen Lynch

Lollapalooza 06
Burden Brothers
Ben Kweller
30 Seconds to Mars
Matisyahu
Queens of the Stone Age
Red Hot Chili Peppers

Jim Gaffigan

Primus
Drums & Tuba

Tenacious D

Red Hot Chili Peppers

Zach Galaifankis

Burden Bros

Bonnaroo 07
Rodrigo y Gabriela
Cold War Kids
Kings of Leon
The Night Watchmen
The Black Keys
Tool
Super Jam: John Paul Jones, ?uestlove, Ben Harper
Ziggy Marley
The Hold Steady
The Flaming Lips
John Butler Trio
Flight of the Conchords
Demetri Martin
Wolfmother
The Decemberists
The White Stripes
Widespread Panic

Queens of the Stone Age

I highly suggest if your into live music, go to a music fest. It will seem like a lot of money at first, but it is TOTALLY worth it. Bonnaroo was one of the craziest, most fun times of my life and I was hoping that the rumor of Led Zeppelin coming to Roo this year was true but it wasn't so I will be attending Lolla this year; RADIOHEAD! was just announced to be headlining along with Nine Inch Nails.

upcoming concerts
Pablo Francisco in Chicago, March 29th
The Black Keys
in Chicago, April 12th
possible Wu-Tang Clan in Milwaukee, May

A system of cells interlinked
Ha, I had 7th row/center for Iron Maiden and WASP on the World Slavery Tour in 1984. I saw them in Tucson AZ, and it was completely insane. During Maiden, I got crushed in the crowd and I had to get pulled out by security and set over to the side for about 10 minutes while I calmed down. I was a really small person then, a far cry from my 6'5" frame now. Still, I remember it vividly. Randy Piper, one of the guitarists for WASP had a whack guitar with pipes coming off of it, and smoke would shoot out of his guitar whenever he would do a guitar solo. I remember how bad the stuff smelled.

That said, I don't think it's possible for me to list, or even remember all of the shows I have been to. Some of the Highlights include...

Pink Floyd (twice)
Rush (9 times)
Queensryche (thrice)
Tool (4 times)
Megadeth (6 times)
Metallica (4 times)
Soundgarden
Lollapalooza (twice)
Iron Maiden
Boston Music Awards
Dresden Dolls
James Taylor
Dave Matthews Band (twice)

and on and on and on.....
