I’m here only on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays. That’s why I’m here now.

In the 1970s (and into the 80s) Sony Trinitron was THE color TV to own. There were Curtis Mathes fans as well, but everyone I knew back then wanted a Trinitron. I remember them well.

Retro gaming - some old school consoles look better on these old TVs, for which they were optimized.

A Curtis Mathis is better known as “the tv you put the new tv on”. Like a nice piece of furniture you didn’t want to get rid of after it quit working.

This. Right here was the primary reason.

But then I got an antenna and saw how much 4:3 content was getting broadcast and it really does look gobs better on the old TV.

Hell, I even got Netflix loaded up on it last night and that 4K content just looks insane given the age of the TV. I love it!

My husband has an old tv in our attic he won’t throw out. He says the tv is fine, it’s the system that is old.

We still have this 19" CRT AIWA in the bedroom. It works very well but we've not turned it on for about 7 years.

i’m going back up under the lights on Tuesday. i haven’t decided if i’m gonna wear my cheap $1 sunglasses or these absolute units. trying to mix things up since no one is actually listening to me.

oh, and i’ll be in a dress for the first time on stage. that should make everything i say hilarious, yeah? xD

My cat Star. Got her a few months back. She was a rescue - or maybe she rescued me. either way she is really fun.

My mom's cat Rocket passed away a few months ago. About 9 weeks ago, a little black female cat showed up on her back porch. I was there and my mom took the stray in. We named her Midnight . We found out she was pregnant. Her kittens are 5 weeks tomorrow and so dang cute.

All the toys came with a mini-comic. Had a stack of them in my closet forever. Got rid of them, without knowing about all the toys.

With the comics, this would have been crazytown!
