Favourite movie soundtrack?

Drive - Fantastic music that attributes to the mysterious feel

Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction - Can't beat Tarantino's soundtracks, got to love super sounds of the 70s

You know what, I know it lowers my "street cred" A LOT....
I actually quite like the soundtracks to the Twilight films.

Precious tritium is what makes this project go.
Not sure if I have a favourite...

But maybe Kick-Ass.

If scores are included then it's probably The Godfather

I really like the music score by Basil Poledouris for Conan The Barbarian.
I know, cheesy movie but simple plain fun that reflects the time it was made.

I also like the musical score for Braveheart.

I guess they stick in my head because they are so different from pop-music scores.

I don't know whether I've already posted in this thread, but The Adventures of Baron Munchausen. I think it's a fantastic piece of work and probably Michael Kamen's best film score.

What is your favourite movie soundtrack?

I think the songs/music used in Donnie Darko was second to none, especially the opening track of the movie
"the killing moon" by Echo and the bunnymen.
Real shame they couldn't afford to use these songs in an official soundtrack we could have bought. Saying that, the score is quite good, which you can buy.
My all time favourite is The Good, The Bad and The Ugly.
A recent one is the soundtrack in Paper Towns.

My favorite movie soundtrack is from Coen Brother's Inside Llewyn Davis. Hang Me O Hang Me, Please Mr. Kennedy and Death of Queen Jane are my favorites. Can listen to these songs over and over again!

Not easy lol but

- "Jumanji"
- "The Dark Knight"
- "Forrest Gump"
- "Contact"
- "Harry Potter"
- "Take Shelter"
- "Jurassic Park"
(...)

Last of The Mohicans - THE GAEL (Doug Maclean). Wait until 2.20 into the music - this is where the term goosebumps where first born!!!!

Le Grand Bleu (Big Blue) - by Eric Serra. It's just a masterpiece throughout, and of course directed by Luc Besson - what a remarkable man! The film is as stunning as the score!

Last but not least: Blade Runner score by Vangelis - speechless!!!
