I was looking through some movie news on Imdb and came across this. It just smacks of desperation on the part of Fox to get everyone to agree to another series.

Friends - The Movie

Also a bit pointless, the series is four episodes shorter, about the length of a feature film. So theyre doing exactly the same amount of filming.

Probably go see it though.

Well, this is one turned out to be obviously just one big rumor!!!

Here's a quote from today's Dark Horizons:


Friends: The Movie: Rumours ran rampant the other week that the famous sitcom looks to be headed for the big screen, now its creator has given indications otherwise whilst addressing students at the University of Florida last night. 'Jon' was in attendance and has the details: "I asked him about the R-rated Friends rumor I read on the site a few weeks back and he laughed at it, saying if I was interested in that stuff I should check out the Friends porno movies that he's seen floating around. I then asked him if Friends would ever be made into a movie and he said "Definitely not. It's hard enough trying to keep a 30 minute show entertaining. No one wants to watch The Beverly Hillbilies for two hours"".
