Top 10 Funniest Movies Ever

Now With Moveable Parts
Firegod asked me the other day, what my favorite Tom Hanks movie was. After doing a mental inventory, I'd have to say based on the characters he played alone, and not the whole movie itself--I'd have to pick Tom Hanks as Walter Fielding in The Money Pit. Man, I never laughed so hard. The great thing about this movie, is no matter how many times I've seen it.....I still laugh as hard and as long as the first time. Definitly a top 10 for me.

THATS GREAT SADES!! I'M HAPPY FOR YOU!

Okay, I'll be honest about this. I haven't seen alot of my favorite comedies for some time, so I am having trouble remembering exact specifics about them. So what I'll do is list my favorite comedies and a funny qoute from each. Thank you IMDB! And sorry for not following the rules...

Blazing Saddles 1974

Governor William J. Le Petomane: What?
Hedley Lamarr: Meeting is adjourned.
Governor William J. Le Petomane: It is?
Hedley Lamarr: No, you say that governor!
Governor William J. Le Petomane: What?
Hedley Lamarr: Meeting is adjourned!
Governor William J. Le Petomane: It is?
Hedley Lamarr: Here sir, play with this!
[Hands the governor a rubber ball and paddle set.]

Life of Brian 1979
[A line of prisoners files past a jailer.]
Jailer: Crucifixion?
Prisoner: Yes.
Jailer: Good. Out of the door, line on the left, one cross each.
[Next prisoner.]
Jailer: Crucifixion?
Prisoner 2: Er, no, freedom actually.
Jailer: What?
Prisoner 2: Yeah, they said I hadn't done anything and I could go and live on an island somewhere.
Jailer: Oh I say, that's very nice. Well, off you go then.
Prisoner 2: No, I'm just pulling your leg, it's crucifixion really.
Jailer: [laughing] Oh yes, very good. Well...
Prisoner 2: Yes I know, out of the door, one cross each, line on the left.

The Odd Couple 1968
Oscar Madison: I can't take it anymore, Felix, I'm cracking up. Everything you do irritates me. And when you're not here, the things I know you're gonna do when you come in irritate me. You leave me little notes on my pillow. Told you 158 times I can't stand little notes on my pillow. "We're all out of cornflakes. F.U." Took me three hours to figure out F.U. was Felix Unger!

Army of Darkness 1993
Ash: Klaatu Barrada Nikto.
Wise man: Again.
Ash: Klaatu Barrada Nikto.
Wise man: Again.
Ash: I got it, I got it. I know your damn words, right?
[Later]
Ash: Klaatu Barrada n... Necktie... Nickel... It's an "N" word, it's definitely an "N" word!

The Holy Grail 1975
Dingo: You must spank her well, and after you are done with her, you may deal with her as you like... and then... spank me!

Galahad: Well I could stay a bit longer...

Young Frankenstein 1974
Igor: It's times like this that I remember what my old dad used to say.
Dr. Friedrich von Frankenstein: What was that?

Stannie Dum: You better come up dead or alive!

Stannie Dum: Let's drop a rock on him. That'll make him dead when he's alive.
Ollie Dee: Now you're talkin'.

Duck Soup 1933
Firefly: Now, what is it that has four pairs of pants, lives in Philadelphia, and it never rains but it pours?
Chicolini: 'At's-a good one. I give you three guesses.
Firefly: Now lemme see. Has four pair of pants, lives in Philadelphia. Is it male or female?
Chicolini: No, I don't think so.
Firefly: Is he dead?
Chicolini: Who?
Firefly: I don't know. I give up.
Chicolini: I give up, too.

Raising Arizona 1987
Gale: Alright ya' hayseeds, it's a stick-up. Everybody freeze. Everybody down on the ground.

Gale: Shut up!
Old Man in bank: Okay then.
Gale: Everybody down on the ground!
Evelle: Y'all can just forget that part about freezin' now.
Gale: Better still to get down there.
Evelle: Yeah, y'all hear that, don't ya'?
[Everybody lays down. Gale looks at the now-empty teller windows.]
Gale: ****! Where'd all the tellers go?!
Teller's voices: We're down here sir.
Evelle: They're on the floor as you commanded, Gale.

Marty DiBergi: What do you call this?
Nigel Tufnel: Well, this piece is called "Lick My Love Pump."

I guees I probably overdid it, so in the immortal words spoken by Sir Holden, "So sue me!"

Seraph of the Void

Ima doinga mine inna familial styla...(don't you mean familiar?)
Ifa itsa familiar to you why donta you do it.

Better off dead
I've been going to this high school for seven and a half years. I'm no dummy.

First wives club
(GASP!) He brought HER...to my son's..Bar Mitzvah!! What is she...a gift?

History of the World part I
Remember thou art mortal! Remember thou art mortal! Remember thou art mortal! Oh blow it out your ass. (Gasp.)

Orgazmo
I'm not a superhero!I'm a latter day saint!!

The Jerk
First I get my name in the phone book and now I'm on your ass. You know, I'll bet more people see that than the phone book.

Harlem Nights
Bitch, I'm not playin'. You gonna be the nine-toe havingest, limpin'est bitch in Harlem, if you don't put that razor away!

The Wedding Singer
No, sir, I have no experience, but I'm a big fan of money. I like it. I use it. I have a little. I keep it in a jar on top of my refrigerator. I'd like to put more in that jar. That's where you come in.

The Birdcage
It's like riding a psychotic horse toward a burning stable.

Clerks
"Empire" had the better ending. I mean, Luke gets his hand cut off, finds out Vader's his father, Han gets frozen and taken away by Boba Fett. It ends on such a down note. I mean, that's what life is, a series of down endings. All "Jedi" had was a bunch of Muppets.

Four Rooms
Goddess Diana, fail you I will. I was to bring you fresh sperm from my Bill. I had him erect and his semen would follow. Alas, I was hot. So hot that I swallowed.

Horsefeathers
You know you've got the brain of a four-year old child, and I bet he was glad to get rid of it.

The Last Dragon
I'm sick and tired of these bull**** superman stories of the legendary whaasaah Bruce Leroy catching bullets with his teeth. Catches bullets with his teeth!!! ****** please.

Yeah I know but just stopping at twelve was hard.

Despite an incredibly dull opening fifteen minutes, Rat Race has some very funny spots in it (Lovitz and all the Nazi paraphernalia - with that terrific & outrageous pay-off, definitely being the best of the bunch), and as a whole is better than it deserves to be as an obvious rip-off of It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World. But if one thinks Rat Race is among the ten funniest movies they've ever seen, I'd automatically conclude they haven't seen very many movies.

And La Cage aux Folles [size=1=](1978)[/size] is the original French farce which was re-made by Mike Nichols and company as The Birdcage. As happens much more often than not, the original is the superior version. By far.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail
O Brother Where Art thou
Animal House
The Blues Brothers
Dennis the Menace
Beverly Hills Cop
All of Me
A Life Less Ordinary
