I bought the Weird Wisconsin: Bill Rebane collection blu ray box set today. It has six films directed by Bill Rebane plus interviews, short films and a documentary.

You ready? You look ready.

Assassin’s Creed was $5, and I honestly thought it was a pretty good adaptation.

Event Horizon because I don’t already own it. But I’m not really sure why I bought it. The VHS rental my dad brought home traumatized me as a child, so God only knows what’s gonna happen when I watch it in 4K.

The last DVD I bought was Malignant for my uncle because he refuses to upgrade to a bluray player.

Needless to say, he dug it and it was worth the 17 bucks I paid for it.

You’re gonna need a bigger boat.

Last Dvd I bought was a European copy of The Keep (1983)
And why is because it never got an American dvd release and Michael Mann likes to pretend it doesn't exist

The inventory at SwapADVD is typically as bad as your local thrift store's, but sometimes, you'll get lucky.

I mean, it's a classic (plus, a Hall of Fame pick).

I went to a James Bond panel at DragonCon last year and one of the panelists said this is the best one. A bold claim, eh? Let's see how it holds up.

Majesty is certainly in close contention for the best, and outside of the fact that Lazenby was far from the best Bond, I am fine if someone claims it for the top spot.

There are only two or maximum three I'd personally consider better (Goldfinger, Thunderball, Casino Royal, maybe Goldeneye) and it's close

Hard as hell to find.

This film deserves a remake.

This film deserves a remake.
The movie feels incomplete, but what's there is really haunting and unique.

It would make a pretty good miniseries, the books also had several sequels that were interesting.

I got three Kino blu rays today:

My Favourite Blonde
Road to Utopia
Road to Zanzibar

I don’t believe I have seen Road to Utopia before, but I have seen the other two.

I went to the mall and got three more blu rays. I got:

The Shiver of the Vampires
Two Orphan Vampires
All the Colours of the Dark

I bought this. I think I must have seen it on a library dvd before. There’s no place where it’s streaming so, what the heck, I bought the dvd from Amazon.

Today I bought a three disc blu ray set called Three Between The Sheets. Released by Severin, it includes three steamy/trashy 80s films: Ecstasy, Black Venus, and Melody of Passion.

Today I bought two more film noir blu ray box sets. I got:

Film Noir Dark Side of Cinema volume VIII (includes Street of Chance, Temptation, and Enter Arsene Lupin)
Film Noir Dark Side of Cinema volume XII (includes Undertow, Hold Back Tomorrow, Outside the Wall)

There are 13 volumes in the series so far and I now have the first 12. Anyone else have any of the "Dark Side of Cinema" box sets?
