No, but there are ways to portray him without getting that explicit. I thought the show I, Claudius did a pretty good job of that.
Sure and I agree, still one of my favorite movies, even if because it dared to be explicit.

I'm embarrassed to say that I bought the paperback but have never gotten around to reading it
The 9th gate is only partial in that book, so you won't be missing much as to what the movie is referred.

Thank you and you are absolutely right. As I said in the Addenda I don't have a movie list per se so many titles slip my mind. I'm right on it.

You have good taste.

I think the only one I've watched I dislike on there is The Omen.
thank you kindly. I find the Omen interesting because of it's take on the rise and fall of the antichrist. Much like all those movies about Jesus. All together work, in separate they are a bit meh [except maybe for the first one]. The way the 3rd one ends is also cringe worthy, but Sam Neil has some good moments throughout [and a great monologue with his Jesus statue]

Little Devil, not going to lie, at a few seconds glance I'd say about half of your list lands onto mine. Excellent list!
Thanks. Than allow me to tell you, you have good taste.

Soylent Green

Nice to see this movie on your list...not a lot of talk about it around here.

I only watched the remake. Is the original as good?
I've actually never watched the original. I was just wondering. I was just going to say props for mentioning it, I never hear anyone talk about that movie, it's probably one of my top 10 horror films.

It's a great movie that tackles a "most likely" vision of the future if we keep increasing our numbers.

I found it heart breaking to a certain extent. Simple, but effective.
