MoFo Fantasy Baseball - 2024 Season

I'll be surprised if I win. Just too many injuries. The moment someone comes off the IL another person goes on. And almost all of them after the trade deadline, when there's no way to suitably address it.

It's possible, I see a narrow path and I'm certainly going for it, but it's unlikely.

My biggest hitters have gone very quiet lately, which is a shame, as it was looking like I was going to at least put up a fight for a trophy this year, which with the QS stats and good pitching performances flowing over the last week or so. It all has to come together across the entire roster...not just half of it!

...and then Jasson Dominguez comes along. GREAT GRAB! He definitely has the potential, high ceiling, etc... to boost 5 badly needed categories in the short time left. Never underestimate the power of the Force.

The fact Adam will probably win this while completely ignoring the Holds category is amazing. I think the last time someone won while having a 1 in a category was Mikeython1 for stolen bases. Adam may have had the best draft ever this season.

Me and Yoda are tied at 2nd place, and have 18 days of Baseball left to overcome an 11 point lead Adam has. Doubtful? Absolutely. lol
Maybe Buxton can do one of those nuclear surges. Maybe this new Encarnacion can play like a first rounder for 2 weeks. Maybe Dylan Crews finally hitting a good average the past 7 days can continue with power. Maybe Tommy Edman can make up for the whole season in 2 weeks. Maybe Ohtani Ohtanis'. Here's hoping (fingers crossed)

Corey Seager out for the year now. No cavalry comin', won't really have been at full strength at any point.

Still possible, but Seager was a significant part of the most plausible comeback scenarios.

Stat analysis isn't showing me much for a viable path to 3rd. At this point, just hope my team finishes strong to maintain 4th...

The best thing you can do, and this goes for everyone, is find out what categories you may be close to overtaking Adam in and go full boar to finish out the season in them. It would be good. It would be good for me!

After all the moves, all the trades, all the time, and it's all undone because no matter who is on my team they just don't hit the baseballs. Cry. Big cry.

Easily the high point of a long bad day. Good for him getting the 50/50, and still counting. The way his season started, so much shade thrown his way, found out his best friend stole 16 million from him, and yet no public tantrums. I'm kinda glad he doesn't speak English, if he did Im sure he wouldn't have came off as so perfect lol

As of this writing Adam and Yoda tied at first with 103.5 points, and me 3rd with 98. Don't know who'll win but it's been a great Fantasy Baseball season. For me probably the best ever.

Ohtani's day has to be the best ever in baseball, yea?

Probably. The only thing that I've seen that comes close is Shawn Green going 6 for 6 with four homers, 7 RBI and 19 total bases, in a game against the Brewers (which is why I remember it)

Tantalizingly close, yet so far. Have probably the last 2 starters going today for the rest of the season. My inning count is about kaput!
