So I finally watched Deliverance this morning...

It was brutal but really excellent. I do wonder where they cast that boy that played the banjo in the Dueling Banjos scene in the beginning. Pretty crazy.

It was not bad, but I felt that the antagonists, the abducters, were kind of cartoon-ish and overdone I felt, unless maybe I am wrong. That part always weakened the movie for me.

That's very cool. Ronny Cox is one of my favorite actors and wished he was in more movies. I'm sure that representing the characters as kind of over the top, was not intentional though, it just came off that way.
